We have been working with The Stafford London for the past six years – a luxury, five-star hotel owned by Kempinski, whose portfolio includes sixty prestigious hotels.

The Stafford London is in the heart of St James’s Place, one of London’s most prestigious areas, dating back to the time of Charles II, and today home to a range of exclusive retailers, clubs, hotels, bars and restaurants. To date, we have completed a number of projects including the refurbishment of many of the hotel’s 107 rooms including the reception area and staff restaurant.

Working closely with London based hotel designers, Goff Associates, each room was individually refurbished working with a heritage focused range of high quality furniture, materials, fabrics, fixtures and fittings; in some cases rooms were re-modelled altogether requiring new internal walls and re-plastering throughout.

The refurbishment of the rooms consisted of new marble bathrooms, sanitary ware, fitted wardrobes which were finished in mahogany to complement the furniture chosen for each room, new lighting, flat screen TVs, remote control and electric blinds were also installed. After decorating the rooms, using wallpapers from companies including Zoffany and Osborne & Little, we worked with the designers to help position every painting and generally assisted in detailing and dressing each room prior to hand over.

For the staff restaurant and break out area we re-decorated throughout, fitted new carpets, ceilings and lighting. We finished the staff area with new pictures and seating.

In addition to the refurbishment of the guest rooms we also worked on the prestigious “Guvnor Suite” which is located in an independent annex of the hotel, which included its own entrance lobby, lounge area, bedroom, bathroom and built-in wardrobes.

We continued the design theme, “timeless English elegance”, through to the main reception area.
