Murray & Willis 'Highly Commended' at Built-in Quality awards

At a presentation lunch to announce the winners of the Staffordshire Built-in Quality Awards, Murray & Willis was adjudged runner-up in its category - the sector for public building contracts of under £1million in value. The awards scheme itself is designed to showcase builders and developers who have achieved outstanding quality in their construction work.

In a presentation speech, Ged Cooper, chair of the awards group, said, "We are making this award because it is our only real opportunity to demonstrate how we value the work that you do. Issuing a completion certificate sometime doesn’t say enough. We hope that these awards will encourage others to meet the standards that you have set – leading to better building."

Murray & Willis was short-listed for the award based on a contract carried out for South Staffordshire Healthcare NHS Trust for extensions to St. George’s Hospital in Stafford.
