Client:
NHS Birmingham
Project:
Muscular Skeletal Pathology Research Building
Project Duration:

The NHS have a cancer research department within the University of Birmingham building at Edgbaston. We were recently appointed as main contractor to install a new ventilation system to existing fume cupboards. The installation of the system was required mainly for health and safety purposes to extract chemical fumes from the cupboards.

The project required co-ordination and liaison with the University and the NHS to achieve success.

Roof shut downs were required for creating penetrations for the ventilation stacks through the structural roof which had to be strategically planned to minimize disruption to all of the building occupants’ operations.

The project was completed on time and within budget to the complete satisfaction of the client.
