Wolverhampton City Council
Client:
Wolverhampton County Council
Project:
New Leisure Centre Cafe
Project Duration:
10 Weeks

Murray & Willis were appointed by Wolverhampton County Council to undertake the complete transformation of an unused, newly built unit within the Leisure Centre into a Café to form a new vibrant eating space for the community and users of the centre.

The project was delivered over a ten week period and had to be completed while the Leisure Centre remained open to the public. The client was keen to have the Café open ready for the new academic school year, which meant the programme had to be meticulous down to the exact detail.

The scope of works included the removal of internal block walls, formation of new wall layout, new screeded floor, new DDA access ramp, air handling unit, kitchen and servery, seating areas, office and welfare facilities including mechanical and electrical installation.
