Description of works:
Upgrade and refurbishment of Lecture Theatres, Learning Space and Teaching rooms in the Mechanical & Chemical Engineering Department. The Lecture Theatres were completely stripped out, ceilings and floor finishes were changed, wall decorations were upgraded and motorised blinds were fitted to all windows. New fixed seating was installed to the tiered lecture theatres and high tec. teaching aids, operated from the lecturer's podium, were installed.
A mezzanine floor was constructed to create an elevated area of comfort seating, where below this offices were created.
All the standard teaching rooms were completely refurbished and again high tech. teaching aids were installed. The work was completed on time and the client was very pleased with the standard of work and the final result.
